Reginald “REGGIE” Noah Pimentel, age 75, died at St. Thomas Rutherford Medical Center on Saturday, Oct.18, 2014 following an extended illness.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jean Turrentine O’Brien, son, Roger W. Pimentel, daughter-n-law, Diane, granddaughters, Hannah and Victoria Pimentel all of Normandy, niece, Beverly Shanks and husband, Chris of Bermuda, brother in-law Monty Fox of London, England, friend and caregiver Sherry Young, Shelbyville, and stepdaughter, Ashley O’Brien, Murfreesboro.

Preceded in death by parents, Noah and Constance Pimentel of Bermuda, first wife of 40 years Natalie Pimentel, sister, Jean Fox and nephew, Paul Fox of London, England.

Born on Feb. 9, 1939 in Paget, Bermuda he worked as a painting and maintenance contractor until his retirement in 1987 when he and his wife moved to the Richmond community where they farmed, raised beef cattle and Tennessee Walking Horses. He was known for his unlimited energy and love of horses. He loved trail riding on his favorite horse, Buster and cheering on his multi-World Grand Champion Coin’s Black Stroke. Reggie’s last horse show was Columbia where his new horse, Titlest’s Grand Slam and Jean won their first blue. He was an accomplished horseman, loved to traveling and the telling of funny stories. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church, TWHBEA and WHOA.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Steve Murphree will officiate, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation was held 4-8 PM Tuesday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
