MANNING, S.C. - The annual South Carolina Walking Horse Association’s Spring Fling was held at Stan Tindal Stables in Manning, S.C., on March 7, 2009. It was a beautiful day for the event. Trainers from all over the state brought their horses for a sneak preview of the upcoming show season. Lunch was provided by Roger’s Bar B Que of Florence, S.C., and was served promptly at noon. The SCWHA board members donated items to be auctioned off by Melvin Wallace. Everything ranging from Japanese Bantam Chickens to barn items were auctioned off. One of the highest bids was for a chocolate velvet cake made by Sarah Sheffield.
