SHOW HIO Releases Compliance Information from 80th Celebration

The SHOW HIO was the affiliating Horse Industry Organization for the 80th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration, held August 22nd through September 1st. SHOW conducted 2,012 inspections at the Celebration, 1,830 pre-show inspections and 182 post-show inspections.

SHOW Rules Committee recommends rulebook changes

The SHOW Rules Committee, chaired by Carrie Benedict, has made some recommended rulebook changes to the SHOW Board of Directors. The Rules Committee would like SHOW to adopt rules of governance for the showing of horses by owners, exhibitors and trainers that mirror the governance guidelines for judges performing their duties.

It’s a wrap — 80th Celebration recapped at a glance!

The 80th Anniversary Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration ended up as one of the best in recent memory. Even though entries were flat from this year compared to last, with 2,456 entries this year as compared to 2,466 last year, the show was a huge success.
