The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration with Kimberly Lewis and Tom Gould filed a motion on November 4th opposing HSUS’ attempt at intervention in the rulemaking case in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The Walking Horse report has recently learned of the passing of Reserve World Grand Champion, Honor And Remember. After a lengthy illness and extended stay at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital, the gorgeous, young stallion passed away on November 5, 2024. He fought a hard fight but, in the end, lost the battle. The Report has learned of the passing of Janice Holt who was the wife of longtime horse trainer, Sonny Holt. Funeral arrangements for Janice will be on Saturday, November 9th.
