The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA), in partnership with the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA), will host a meeting for Tennessee Walking Horse show managers on Saturday, February 14, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in conjunction with the WHTA Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet at the Embassy Suites in Franklin, Tennessee.

A complimentary luncheon will follow the meeting, and all show managers who host events that include Tennessee Walking Horses are invited to attend.

Horse shows are the foundation of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. They provide the stage on which breeders, owners, trainers, and exhibitors come together, sustain local communities, and preserve the traditions and future of the breed. Recognizing their critical role, TWHBEA and WHTA remain firmly committed to supporting horse shows in every way possible to ensure their long-term strength, viability, and success. Simply put, the success of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry depends on the success of its competitions.

The meeting will provide show managers with important industry updates, including the latest information from the USDA, a demonstration of new entry software scheduled for adoption by many shows in 2026, and a panel discussion featuring representatives from some of the industry’s leading horse shows. Ample time will be dedicated to questions, open dialogue, and the exchange of ideas.

Show organizers may reserve a place at the luncheon by calling TWHBEA at 931-359-1574 or by clicking here to register online: https://forms.gle/wR6CC4uJR1gYEFBG6
