ThorSport Hosts American Farm Bureau Tours

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – ThorSport Farm of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, hosted four tours for the American Farm Bureau Convention. The convention was held in Nashville and featured speakers such as United States President Donald Trump and Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Purdue. Four tours were held at ThorSport farm on Jan. 6 and Jan. 9 with 220 viewing the facility.

Allison Thorson guided the tours and breed demonstrations were made. The exhibitions displayed the smoothness, versatility and calm disposition of the Tennessee Walking Horses, both flat-shod and performance horses. Herbert Derickson and Leigh Stuart brought padded horses to display.

Food prepared by Lee Ann Musick-Deaton, brochures and canned Carolina Nut Company peanuts were available for all to enjoy.
