Update on Dalton Puckett

Dalton Puckett, the 16 year old son of Johnny & Holly Puckett, was involved in a severe accident when a car collided into his tractor and trailer on Hwy 231 early Tuesday evening. Puckett was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center immediately following the accident. Although the injuries were non-life threatening, he suffered a broken collarbone and severe road rash. He was released from Vanderbilt yesterday and is recovering well. Johnny Puckett served as one of three on the judge panel at the Christmas In July show, which wrapped up Thursday night in Shelbyville.

The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association has announced its holiday schedule. TWHBEA will be closed from December 24th through 26th, as well as December 31st and January 1st, and will reopen on January 2.
