Abernathy Joins Walking Horse Report

The Walking Horse Report is pleased to announce that Chrystal Abernathy has joined the Walking Horse Report.  Abernathy will serve as an advertising representative for Walking Horse Report and work out of her home in Mississippi.  Abernathy is the wife of Walking Horse trainer Edgar Abernathy and has two children, Claudia Gribble, age 9 and Ella, age 3.

“We are very excited to have Chrystal come on board and join our team.  I know she will fit in well with our current team and bring a wealth of Walking Horse experience and knowledge to us.  It has been a goal of Walking Horse Report to cover each area of the country equally and this move will better allow us to continue in that direction,” said Publisher Jeffrey Howard.

Abernathy will primarily cover the West Tennessee and Mississippi show circuit but will also be utilized in all areas that the Walking Horse Report provides coverage.   “I look forward to a successful season with the Walking Horse Report,” said Abernathy.

Abernathy was born and raised in North Carolina and started riding Tennessee Walking Horses at age 6 at Chad Baucom Stables in Monroe, NC.  Abernathy has served on the North Carolina Walking Horse Association Board of Directors and served as President for the North Carolina Walking Horse Ladies Auxiliary.  She has also served on the Mid-South Walking Horse Association Board of Directors.
