Lewisburg, Tenn. - Fully invested in the belief that the introduction of new riders to the Tennessee Walking Horse is key to the breed’s future, the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) will oversee the Academy Program in 2012.

In addition to hosting a couple of stand-alone Academy Shows and an Academy Championship, TWHBEA has arranged for Academy classes to be offered at Celebration Versatility Series shows. A similar arrangement is in the works for 4-H shows. Additionally, TWHBEA is encouraging other shows to add Academy classes by offering to provide the ribbons for those classes. Any shows interested in adding Academy classes can contact TWHBEA Youth Coordinator Paulette Ewing at pewing@twhbea.com or 931-359-0593.
