ALERT: A Chance To Go Back In Time
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
The Walking Horse Trainers’ Ladies Auxiliary has voted and approved to go back in time. This marks the 40th Anniversary of the Trainers’ Banquet. 20 years ago this December the owners, trainers and friends of the walking horse industry imitated their favorite singers in a production called “Memories Of Music”. In the form of Trainers Idol, plans are underway to recreate this event. We need approximately 15 acts. Pick your favorite decade after the 1960’s to dress up in costume and makeup to lip-sync your favorite song. During the show, we will still do the Grand Prize Give-A-Way and then following a fun-filled night of karaoke. This will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 in conjunction with the Trainers’ Convention. To book an act or for more information email Dee Cantrell at: birddogs@bellsouth.net.
