Allison Hopkins earns Smoky Mountain Walking Horse Association Scholarship

The Smoky Mountain Walking Horse Association is pleased to announce the selection of Allison Hopkins as the recipient of the Jerry Derryberry Memorial Scholarship. Hopkins is a senior at Hancock County High School with plans to attend Mississippi State University with a career goal in business. She is the daughter of Benjamin and Jodie Hopkins. Hopkins excels in all aspects of her school academics as well as extracurricular activities. Her love for the Tennessee Walking Horse has earned her several honors as well. The SMWHA wishes her continued success in the show ring and her academic pursuits.
