Amateurs Take Control Of Thursday Night

Thursday Night

SHELBYVILLE, TENN.- Thursday night was amateur night. With 19 classes and 14 of them amateur the night brought in over 250 entries. The Trail Pleasure Amateur Specialty class had 28 entries that resulted into a crowd favorite, a workout.

 

The anticipation of the next two nights is growing with over 450 impressive entries to date. Stay tuned for Friday nights results and judges cards located only on The REPORT.




Lucky Collins topped the 15.2 & Under Specialty Stallions with Rocky Mountain Sky.


Meg Young was all smiles as she and Absolute Proof exited the show ring after the Amateur Four Year Old Stallion Specialty class.



Mike and Meghan Davis enjoyed the Thursday line up.


Chad Baucom joined Clay Mills after a victory on Tommy Lee Jones in the Amateur Two Year Old Stallion class.


Dru McCormick and Really topped a large class in the Walking Horse Trainers' Auxiliary.


Miles Irby and Jordan Howell were excited after Cha Cha Cha won the Amateur Trail Pleasure Western Specialty class.
