SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - The 32nd Annual Spring Fun Show will be held May 23-25 at Calsonic Arena on The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration grounds in Shelbyville.

Ranked as one of the top horse shows in the nation after the Celebration, the Fun show is one of the industry’s most impressive multi-day shows. Trainers, owners and exhibitors provide fans with a preview of some of the horses that will vie for world championships at this summer’s Celebration. Last year, the event drew 456 entries, a 71% increase over the previous year.

This year participants will compete in 47 classes during the three-day show, including the following new classes:

• Amateur Country Pleasure, Gentlemen Riders
• Amateur Country Pleasure, Lady Riders
• Trainers’ Families on Walking Horses, Riders 18 Years and Over
• Amateur English Trail Pleasure
• Park Pleasure Walking Horses. Amateur Riders (Canter)

As in prior years, the Fun Show Emporium will feature about 30 booths selling a variety of items, such as fine jewelry, custom-made riding apparel, boots, etched art glass, casual wear and art by widely known walking horse artist Billie Nipper. Back by popular demand from last year’s show, is free Face Painting for the children.
