HENDERSON, Tenn. - The 36th annual Chester County Lions Club Horse Show was held on June 28, 2008, at the Chester County Fairgrounds in Henderson, Tenn. The Chester County Lions Club, whose motto is “We Serve”, sponsored the event. The club actively supports the community through many efforts. The club provides eye screenings for hundreds of Chester County school children and helps local citizens with the purchase of eyeglasses. They also support many local civic activities and youth activities such as Boy’s State, Girl’s State, Dixie Youth Baseball, AYSO Soccer, Project Graduation, Relay For Life and college scholarships. Proceeds from the horse show make all of this possible.

Once again, Show Chairman Neal Smith and his committee did their usual great job of producing a successful horse show that drew a large crowd of spectators and some of the area’s finest contenders who provided an evening of entertainment. Charles Bobo judged the 23 classes.

Armed With An Alibi and Casey Wright were crowned champions in the Walking Horse Stake class for owners Clyde and Grace Robertson.
