SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The 12th annual Bedford County 4-H Spring Festival was held on Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Bedford County Agricultural Center. Dan Waddell judged this year’s event of 32 classes.
Everyone was anxious to show and the first Middle Tennessee one-night show was loaded with talent. Many made debut performances while other classes were filled with world champions and seasoned performers. Two-time Reserve World Champion and Reserve World Grand Champion Ozone’s Cut Above All and John Allan Callaway stepped into the aged competition like the champions they are to win the 10-entry WHTA Riders’ Cup Walking Horse Grand Championship for Sharon Thomas. They ended the 2008 season with five blues and the International Grand Championship Four-Year Old Stallions & Geldings and the Four-Year-Old Grand Championship titles.
