Beverly Sherman Suffered A Heart Attack

Well-known and respected world grand champion rider Beverly Sherman suffered a heart attack while making her victory pass with One Cool Lady at the Dickson County Saddle and Bridle Horse Show. Sherman was taken to Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tenn., before being life flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center were she underwent surgery to have three stints placed in her heart. Sherman also sustained broken ribs. She is doing well and will be released to return to her home in Shelbyville, Tenn.
The Sherman family would like to thank Dr. Cliff Garrard, Ronnie and Angela Rushing, Jeff Epley, Fred Benjamin, Paul Cummings and Dr. Angela Gaskin of Horizon Medical Center for their never ending efforts that aided in Beverly’s recovery.
