Calamity Jane tops two-year-old high points



   She's Calamity Jane took Jimmy McConnell to the winner's circle at the Mid America Spring Show and to the top spot in the Two-Year-Old division of the High Point Report standings this week.  Their win at Jackson, Missouri follwed two reserves and a third place tie earlier this season giving them 62 points in 4 classes at 3 shows.

   Owned by Jim and Bonnie Gerhardt, this prize filly is off to a great start and will be one to watch as the season unfolds.

   Second place in this division is owned by It's Money Maker and Jackie McConnell for owner Stan Wilcoxen with 55 points in 4 outings.  Knox Blackburn and Mike and Annett Weaver's Command Again are third with 50 points in 3 classes.

   This is one of the most popular high point divisions and 217 horses have already earned points.
