Larry Edwards and Cash's All Star strengthened their bid for the World Grand Championship with a solid win last night at the Tony Rice Show in Shelbyville, Tennessee. They moved into second place in the High Point Report standings in their division only two points behind the undefeated The Black Night Shade and Jimmy McConnell.
All Star has shown four times this year with wins at Dawson, Georgia, The Spring Fun Show and last night. They also were reserve at the Gulf Coast Charity in a thrilling head to head battle with Night Shade and McConnell.
Third place in the high point standings only two points behind All Star is Main Power who is expected to show at Woodbury this weekend. Last years World Grand Champion 15.2 and Under horse, Private Charter, is expected to show tonight at McMinnville. He is currently in 8th place in the High Point Report standings with 46 points.
This promises to be one exciting weekend with significant changes in the High Point Reports standings in all divisions as the leading contenders begin to stake their claim for championship honors.
