Celebration To Host Golf Tournament

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will host the Celebration Shootout Golf Tournament at River Bend County Club on Sunday August 24, 2014. There are no day classes on the Sunday of the Celebration. The tournament will begin at 9:00AM.
The tournament will feature 9 four-man teams that will compete in a scramble format. Teams will be created at the time of event. The tournament is open to men, women and senior golfers. The entry fee will be $80 which will include greens fee, cart, lunch, beverages and hat/visor. Prizes will be given in team competition as well as long drive, straightest drive, and closest to the pin. The winners will be announced during the Sunday evening performance of The Celebration.

The 55th Annual National Trainers’ Show was held in Cooper Steel Arena March 15th through the 18th on the show grounds of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. This marks the first Tennessee Walking Horse show in the newly title sponsored Cooper Steel Arena, replacing the old naming rights holder, Calsonic Arena.
