The entry deadline for the 74th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration closed on August 7, 2012.  Amidst fear of the economy and industry transition, many industry leaders thought a decline of 20% was a real possibility.  The reality is entries closed at 2,660 vs. 2,936 in 2011, a 9% decline.  The total number of horses that make up those entries is 1,463 vs. 1,567 in 2011, a 7% decline.

These are entries for the preliminary classes only and will grow with championship entries made for the final weekend of the Celebration.
