The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration has announced the creation of the Celebration Versatility Horse Show Series for 2011.  These shows will offer versatility events, country pleasure, trail pleasure, lite shod and classic park pleasure.  There will be classes available for youth, amateur and professional exhibitors.

The 2011 Versatility Series will include 6 shows prior to the 2011 Celebration and two shows following The Celebration that will be included in the 2012 Series.  Dates for these events in 2011 are April 16, May 14, May 21, June 4, July 15 and Aug. 13.

All of these shows will be affiliated with the SHOW HIO and entry fees will be $10 per class with a SHOW card and $16 without the card.  A point system will be in place with the winners being recognized with a spotlight ride at The Celebration as well as a cash payoff of a 50/50 jackpot for the first three places from the $10.00 entry fees collected at the shows.

High Point Awards will be awarded to the high point trainer, high point amateur, high point youth and high point all around horse.  The shows will not be Fun days but rather “Dress Shows’ with versatility events starting at 3:00PM.

According to Celebration Chairman Henry Hulan “This Series will promote our youth, pleasure horses and versatility events in the industry.  We believe that this Series will result in spreading the word about the Tennessee Walking Horse and the wonderful characteristics this animal has to offer people all across America.”
