Wednesday, March 13, 2013
The Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration welcomes Craig Camerom, the Extreme Cowboy Association and the Extreme Cowboy Race National Championships to the Celebration Grounds. The National Championships will be held May 24-25, 2013.The competition will begin at 10:00 am each day. This will be a triple point event.
Craig Cameron’s Extreme Cowboy Race consists of obstacles such as water crossings, moguls, side-pass, bridges, back-thrus, jumps and other interesting obstacles. Horsemanship with speed provides an exciting event for competitors and spectators. There will be two rounds, one on Friday and one on Saturday for all of the divisions, which are Pro, Non-Pro, Novice, Ride Smart, Green Horse, Youth and Young Guns. There will be buckles, payback and prizes in all of the divisions. The Celebration is pleased to host the event and hopes that everyone will join them for this exciting race.
A permanent obstacle course is being built for this and other similar events.
