Certified Riding Instructor Program

TWHBEA would like to announce an Instructor Certification Clinic and Refresher Course to be offered prior to the TWHNC Fun Show to be held at Champions Arena.  The date of the clinic is Wednesday, May 20, 2009.  Certification will include both CRI and TRI Certification testing. All currently certified instructors will be required to complete a refresher course in 2009 to retain certification.  All newly interested instructors are encouraged to attend as well.

TWHBEA has all applications and information online at  Only instructors with completed paperwork, CPR certification, and required fees will be allowed to participate. Attending instructors will be required to ride at all 3 gaits (canter required), teach a 3 gait lesson (canter required), and take a written test. For needed CPR and First Aid classes, please seek out your local Red Cross Center for CPR and First Aid Classes, or you can go to for online testing.
