Champion Jazz In Dixie Bought By Shamrock Farms

Shamrock Farms and the Mike Davis family have purchased World Champion Jazz In Dixie from Sue and Pat Harrington for their daughter Meghan Davis. Meghan will be competing in the 2008 Youth 12-17 ranks with her new mount. Jazz In Dixie was trained by David Landrum Stables and will now be trained by Shamrock Farms and Jeff Green.
Jazz In Dixie had a win in 2007 at the National Trainers’ Show with Joe Cotten in the 15.2 & Under Mare and Gelding Riders’ Cup class. In 2006, she had wins at Gallatin and the East Tennessee Fall Classic including a reserve in the Owner-Amateur Mares 15.2 & Under World Championship. With wins in 2005 at the WCWHTA Trainers’ Show, the All Amateur Show, the California Celebration, the International and the Southern Championships. In 2004, she had an undefeated year winning the Desert Classic Horse Show, two classes at the West Coast Trainers’ Show, the TWHAC All Amateur Show and the Owner-Amateur Mares 15.2 & Under World Championship.
