Charles Brantley, a major contributor to the development and breeding of the Tennessee Walking Horse, is being inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. The Brantley family farm, which has been active since the early 1900`s, as bred such horses as WGC Merry Go Boy. Brantley and his family have always played key parts in the history of the Tennessee Walking Horse and continue to do so today.

Brantley will be inducted February 1, 2002 along side Olympic legends and pro-football players. This is a well deserved honor for Mr. Brantley and a great honor for the Walking Horse industry as well.
