Colt Preview Has No Violations

Show officials reported that the Spring Fling Colt Preview held this past weekend in Shelbyville, Tenn., got a clean bill of health with 18 horses inspected and exhibited and no violations of SHOW rules or Horse Protection Act violations. This was the first SHOW affiliated event of 2014 attended by a Veterinary Medical Officer from the United States Department of Agriculture.

Walking Horse owner and exhibitor, Chad Spencer is the head women’s basketball coach at Moore County High School. Spencer led his Raiderette team to the Class 1A State Championship game earlier this year, finishing as the runner-up.
