The following letter was sent by Congressman Scott DesJarlais to Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack. Congressman DesJarlais represents the 4th District of Tennessee and serves on the House Committee for Agriculture. DesJarlais serves on the Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Subcommittee, which is chaired by Congressman Thomas Rooney of Florida.
