Amateur night a the Spring Fun Show was a jammed packed evening of some of the best horses in the industry. 280 talented horses made the gate call with an anxious audience waiting to see a night full of the best amateur riders.

David Landrum Stables led the blue ribbons with a total of five for the evening. Alexandria Holland made not one but two great rides. She first capture the 12-17 Juvenile on world champion Ritz’s Diamond Joe and then later in the Walking Pony with Rudy Rudiger. Nancy Groover also had a dual night of blues starting in the O/A mares and geldings 15.2 & under with multi-world champion Texas Salsa and newly acquired Three-Year-Old Stallion Gotti. Rounding out the tally was world grand champion Miracle At The Ritz and Sandra Johnson as she claimed the O/A Ladies Mares and Geldings Specialty.

Enjoying repeat wins at Spring Fun Show was world grand champion The Phantom Menace and Thom Meek trained by Knox Blackburn Stables, and world grand champion John FK’s Pusher and Robin MacDonald trained by Dick Peebles Stables.
