Copy’s Jubilee - Equine Obituary

Multi-titled World Champion/World Grand Champion Copy’s Jubilee passed away earlier this month at his home in Blytheville, Ark. He was 35. Owned by the L.H. Gaines family since his purchase in 1980, Copy’s Jubilee carried Mr. Gaines to many prestigious wins across the country including the 1982 Amateur Three-Year-Old World Championship and World Grand Championship, the 1983 Amateur Four-Year-Old World Championship and Amateur Specialty World Grand Championship, the 1993 Owner Amateur Aged Stallions World Championship and the 1995 Owner Amateur Over 60 World Championship.
By Carbon Copy and out of an Ebony Masterpiece mare, the talented stallion foaled May 25, 1979, was bred and raised by R.B. Scruggs. He won over 500 blue ribbons during his illustrious show ring career. After his retirement from the show ring, Copy’s Jubilee enjoyed life at the Gaines’ family farm. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.

The 55th Annual National Trainers’ Show was held in Cooper Steel Arena March 15th through the 18th on the show grounds of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.
