SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – One hundred eighty-seven entries answered the gate call for the Bedford FFA Horse Show on June 26, 2009, at the Bedford County Agriculture Center. Gary Leverette was the show manager. Joel Weaver of Shelbyville, Tenn., judged the 32-class event.

One of the most exciting classes of the evening was the Riders’ Cup Walking Horse Stake. Knox Blackburn and Push Too’s Cowboy entered the ring and made a remarkable show for Anita George. This was the team’s first trip to the winner’s circle this season. World Grand Champion and three-time World Champion Ted Williams and Mike Hilley also looked great and came out in second place for Rising Star Ranch. Third went to the team of Strike It Bold and Justin Harris for Kim Geczi.
