The Cuban - Equine Obituary

On Sunday, April 27, 2014, Reserve World Champion The Cuban was passed away unexpectedly due to colic at Wright Stables in Reagan, Tenn. Foaled on March 16, 2011 to Darrell Frazier of Jamestown, Tenn., he was by Gen’s Black Gin and out of Cashmere Mafia.

The Cuban caught the eye of Billy and Debbie Woods and as an up-coming Two-Year-Old at Justin Jenne’ Stables.  The gorgeous sorrel stallion was purchased and put in training with Michael and Casey Wright.  Shown in 2013 at the Mississippi Charity, Tony Rice, TWHNC, and the Tunica Fall Classic, this talented young star captured three first place titles as well as a Reserve World Championship title with trainer Michael Wright.

The Woods Family along with the entire staff at Wright Stables will sadly miss this young talented star who passed away much too early in his young life.
