Derek Bonner and Pusher’s Power House Push Their Way Straight to the Top

ALBEMARLE, N.C. - The 52nd annual Stanly County Saddle Club Walking Horse Show was held on May 10 in Albemarle, N.C. Sam Howard took on the duties of judging the 31-class show. The Walking Stake class victory was awarded to Pusher’s Powerhouse and Derek Bonner. Dr. Irving Williams of Shelby, N.C., is the proud owner of the sorrel stallion.
Rosemary Clayton was thrilled with the beautiful weather as it often rains at this show. Debby Bush was the official photographer and Tom Kakassy handled the announcer duties with Tyler Hege giving him a short break.
Most of the barns in North Carolina were represented with multiple wins going to Baucom Stables, Helms Farms, David Polk, Mike Klutz, Danny Kistler, as well as wins for Ronald Mosley, Coleytown Stables, Don Lominac and Keith Bryant.
