Dick Peebles Acquitted

On October 31 and November 1, 2011, trainer Dick Peebles stood trial on two counts of sexual battery, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means, and one count of solicitation of a minor. A Bedford County jury found him not guilty on all five counts.
Peebles' attorney, Clay Parker, told Walking Horse Report, "This is the best possible verdict for Mr. Peebles, that 12 impartial people voted not guilty on all counts".

Ring masters were announced, and Brian Peery struck up the organ in Cooper Steel Arena, and classes were underway with 14 divisions on the program for this mild summer morning.
