Dixie Jubilee and Gulf Coast Canceled

Richard Mary announced Wednesday, Sept. 7 that the Dixie Jubilee Horse
Show has been canceled for 2005. The walking horse and Saddlebred show was
scheduled for Nov. 2-5 at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, La. The
center is being used to house refugees who have suffered from Hurricane
Katrina. The show is scheduled to return in 2006.
In addition, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Charity Walking and Racking
Horse Show has been canceled as well. This show was scheduled for Oct. 14
and 15 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulf Port, MS. Further details
will be provided as they become available.
