East Tennessee Trainers' Association To Host Industry Update

The East Tennessee Walking Horse Trainers' Association will host an open meeting to bring owners, trainers and all interested parties up-to-date on current industry issues.  Dr. Steve Mullins, President of SHOW and Frank Eichler, attorney for SHOW will be in attendance and Eichler will give a similar presentation to the one he gave to the Walking Horse Trainers' Association at their annual meeting in December.

The topics will include the Office of Inspector General Audit, mandatory penalties from the USDA and the industry's response to those documents made public several weeks ago.  There will also be the opportunity to ask questions of Eichler and Dr. Mullins.

The meeting will take place January 29, 2011 at 1:00PM EST at the Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center in White Pine, Tenn.  The meeting will be held upstairs in the arena.

All industry participants are welcome to attend and encouraged to send any question they have beforehand to Larry Wheelon, President of the East Tennessee Walking Horse Trainers' Association.  For more information contact the East Tennessee Walking Horse Trainers' Association or Larry Wheelon.
