Eichler And Mills Win Dual Blues at Trainers’ Show

SHELBYVILLE, TN.  Tonight the National Trainers’ Horse Show starts celebrating its 40th anniversary. The show returned to the judging format where prior to each class, three different licensed judges were pulled from a hat. As used last year, this judging format moved quickly and provided a different judging panel in each class.

 

Over 200 entries made the gate call on Wednesday evening consisting of 21 classes including the split of the Amateur Three-Year-Old Mares and Gelding. After a strong crowd and a great group of horses the 40th annual National Trainers’ Show was off and running.

 

Thursday night’s class sheet is scheduled for the, Amateur Specialty Stallions, Amateur Two-Year-Old Stallions and Amateur Three-Year-Old Stallions plus much more. Stay tuned for a complete list of show results and judges card only on The REPORT.


Frank Eichler is congratulated by Jeffrey Howard following not one, but two wins for wife Debbie.


Justin Harris was all smiles after the Fine Harness win with Good Time Freddie.


Kathryn Ramsbottom received a hug from her number one fan, her dad Bob Ramsbottom.


Jimmy McConnell was glad to see grandson, Finn McConnell after his win on Stewart Little in the Open Show Pleasure class.



Sue Anne Dowell and Avery Smith stopped for a photo after the Park Pleasure Model with Trigger Treat.


Joyce Meadows and Joyce Myers join Debra Coleman following her win with Black Silk in the Amateur Two-Year-Old Mares and Geldings class.
