Equine Death - Major Player
Friday, October 16, 2009

RWC Major Player died Friday, October 16, 2009, in his stall at Scotty Brooks Stables in Bowling Green, KY. The result of his death is unknown.
Major Player was a blue ribbon winner at several industry showcases with Courtney Luttrell in the saddle until he found his new home with the Darrell Oliver family. Taylor and Darrell made many memorable rides on him, but when Nathan and Player met, there was an instant bond. Major Player carried Nathan to the 2008 and 2009 International Youth 11 & under Championship, the 2009 Columbia Spring Jubilee Youth 11 & Under, the 2009 Money Tree Classic Youth 11 & Under, the 2009 Marshall County Horseman's Association 11 & Under, and to a 2009 Celebration Reserve World Championship Youth 11 & Under Geldings-Section B.
Losing a horse is always hard; today Nathan Oliver lost one of his very best friends.
The Report sends condolences to the Oliver Family and all who had a part in Major Player's fantastic career.
