Equine Death-The Lottery

World Grand Champion The Lottery was put down on Oct. 10, 2007, after sustaining a broken leg. Bred and raised by David and Karla Landrum, The Lottery went on to win the 15.2 and Under World Grand Championship with Joe Cotten in 2002. Player, Buckner, & Bumgardner of Lancaster, S.C., bought Lottery after the 2007 Celebration and were the current owners at the time of his death. Lottery was formerly owned by Dr. Rafael and Pat Riqual and was trained by Jason Day Stables. Tintern Abbey Farms was the new trainer. This great champion will be greatly missed.
