World champion Generator's Falcon was laid to rest at Falcon Ridge Farm on Thursday, May 30.

This young colt, at the age of 1.5 years old, caught the eye of Ray Gilmer who recognized this horses natural talent, good looks and great attitude and knew that he was something special. He was purchased the next day by Dr. Luby Jones and put under the care of GIlmer. Ray Gilmer and Falcon would go on to claim the Two-Year-Old World Championship in 1997 and the Three-Year-Old World Championship in 1998.

The decision was made to retire Falcon from competition in 1999 and begin his career as a breeding stallion. Falcon had a successful breeding career siring multiple world champions and many, many successful show and pleasure horse. Falcon's ownership changed hands a couple of times through the years but always remained with Ray Gilmer.
