Go Mister Walk a Way Joe (Joey) and Go Mr’s Saturday Nite Sam (Sam) were humanely laid to rest on Saturday, August 27, 2011, due to founder.

In his show ring career, Joey took his rider on 36 trips to the winner’s circle. Sam took his rider 26 times to the winner’s circle including the International English Trail Pleasure Championship in 2004 with rider Maggie Moore.

Both horses lived the past seven years at Portland Plantation, owned by Jean and Robert Brannon and were shown throughout the southeast. They had multiple high point awards in the state of Alabama with Walking Horse Association of Alabama and the Alabama Show Horse Association.

They will be missed by many friends, both equine and human.
