Equine Obituary – Jane's Plain Delight

World Champion and two-time Reserve World Grand Champion Jane's Plain Delight was humanely laid to rest on June 4, 2015 in the meadows where she has grazed for over 20 years at Evening Star Ranch in Lenoir, NC. She was owned by Tommy McGee during this time. This talented mare was born on 4/26/1989 and was 26 years-old at the time of her death.
She was the dam of Pushover’s Power Stroke, Incredible, Armed Red & Dangerous and other show horses, as well as the grand dam to Pushover’s Evening Star, Jane’s Silver Lining and other show horses.
During her lifetime this great mare had many riders and owners. During her show ring career he was previously owned by Chad Baucom, Dr. Andrew Sisk, Bill Clayton and Mark Clayton as was enjoyed throughout the years by many. Her winning offspring carry on her greatness.
