Equine Obituary - Pusher's Benny Boy

The Report was informed of the recent death of 6X World Champion and 3X World Grand Champion Pusher's Benny Boy. Benny Boy was 25 years old.  He retired from the showring in 2005 after providing the Martoccis and Pollacks many exciting blue ribbon performances.  For the Martoccis, Wallace Brandon and Benny Boy thrilled fans at many shows in the Plantation Pleasure Division.  After being purchased in 1997 by the Pollacks, he continued his memorable performances with Patti Pollack and Jimmy Norris in the irons.

In 2007, he was purchased by Wayne and Sandra Barnes returning to Shelbyville to continue a successful breeding career.  Ronald and Faye Summers of Maysel, West Virginia, acquired Benny Boy in 2010 to stand at their farm.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
