The Walking Horse Report has recently learned of the passing of WGC & 2xWC Really Coach? following complications with his small intestines.

Sired by The Coach and out of a Pusher All Color mare named Reality, Really Coach? began his show career under the direction of Beaty Stables and was owned by the Fred Allred Family. The stallion became well known in 2015 after winning the Three-Year-Old World Grand Championship with Todd Claborn. After the world grand championship win, Really Coach? was purchased by Floyd and Beverly Sherman for their daughter Kelly to campaign. Kelly and Really Coach? won the 2016 O/A Four-Year-Old Stallions World Championship. In 2019, ownership changed again with the partnership of DeArmond, Russell and Missildine. Under this new partnership Really Coach? and trainer Rodney Dick captured the Stallions World Championship and Open Specialty Reserve World Grand Championship. The following year, Carol Missildine took over and won a O/A Stallions Reserve World Championship and Amateur Reserve World Grand Championship. In 2021, Dick and Really Coach? were back together and returned to claim another world championship title in the Stallions Canter division. Finally in 2022, the Zack Gipson family purchased Really Coach? and plans were made for Alli Gipson to take over under the direction of Jamie Lawrence.

This past season Really Coach? was shown by Jamie Lawrence, Alli Gipson and Mackenzie Lawrence winning at shows such as the Heart Of Dixie Spring Showcase and the Alabama Ladies Auxiliary. This 11-year-old stallion will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
