Ebony Go Boy’s Dream was humanely laid to rest on January 16, 2008. Born on April 9, 1974, Dream, as she was affectionately called, was one of the most winning mares in Celebration history.

Bob McQuerry started her and won the Two-Year-Old World Championship in 1976. In 1982, Dream won the Ladies Auxiliary with then owner, Diane Taylor and came back in the 11 and Under Championship and was reserve with Beth Young. She won the Juvenile 11 & Under Championship in 1984 with Candy Wulf. In 1985, she was the 15.2 and Under World Grand Champion under Jimmy McConnell’s direction.

In 1987, Dream was bought by the Arthur Gordon family and remained with them until her death. Susan Gordon claimed top honors in the 1987 Owner-Amateur Lady Riders on Walking Mares World Grand Championship. In 1990 and 1991, Dream and Kelly Gordon carried out the roses in the Juvenile 11 and Under World Grand Championship.
