ETWHA contributes to St. Jude

The ETWHA has presented $20,000 for their charity, St Jude's Hospital in 2016 and 2017. In order to increase funds so that more can be given this year, President Franklin Harvey will have his hair cut for Locks Of Love at the General Membership meeting since they met his challenge for selling calendar pages. The total raised was $10,500. Bidding was lively and these ladies helped make it possible, Peaches Searles, Emily Kiser Jackson, Sarah Coffee Burks and Sherri Kiser. Kiser purchased the front cover for $2325 while Burks purchased the back cover for $1450.

Gene D. Jordan, age 91 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away peacefully, May 11, 2024 at the farm he was born and raised on. Gene graduated from Walter Hill High School and then farmed with his Father and later worked as a Master Farrier for thirty-eight years in the Tennessee Walking Horse Industry.
