Excellent Equestrian Honored

Ralph and Shari Winburn (parents), Rep. Don Miller, and Bland and Jarrell Haun (grandparents) are proud of Caitlin, holding her award for equestrian excellence.
State Representative Don Miller recently visited East Ridge Middle School in Morristown, Tenn., to present a Tennessee State House and Senate Joint Resolution recognizing Caitlin Winburn for her equestrian excellence.
Caitlin, of Whitesburg, Tenn., is a sixth grader at East Ridge where she is a member of the Beta Club, the 4-H Club and plays flute in the band. Caitlin is also an active youth member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Morristown.
In 2010, Caitlin and her horse, You're the Man, were recognized by the East Tennessee Walking Horse Association as Juvenile 11 & Under Champions, Caitlin was Youth 11 & Under Rider of the Year, and You're the Man was the Performance Horse of the Year and the East Tennessee Trainer’s "Horse of the Year" as well as scoring top three in the nation in the Walking Horse Report Readers’ Choice Awards.
