Monday, December 14, 2020
The Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse (FAST) recently added Kimberly Walden and Ron Lawrence to its board of directors. The mission of the foundation is to preserve and protect the Tennessee Walking show horse.

Walden is an avid exhibitor that along with husband, Perry Walden, shows in both pleasure and performance divisions. Walden shows in both the amateur and amateur owned and trained divisions and is a multi-world grand champion rider. Walden splits her time between Magnolia, Texas and Shelbyville, Tenn. Kimberly is the owner of Forest Shadows Pet Resort in Magnolia which she began in 2004 after being a Principal in the Conroe Independent School District in The Woodlands in Texas.

Lawrence, who is from Lenoir City, Tenn., is also an avid exhibitor and was this year’s Fine Harness World Grand Champion with In Ted’s Image. Lawrence owns Summit View and Summit View Pharmacy Services, among a portfolio of companies in the healthcare industry. Summit View is a facility that provides skilled rehabilitative care, post-acute care, and secure Alzheimer’s care.
Lawrence is a University of Tennessee graduate with a masters of business administration from The Citadel. Lawrence also served in the United States Air Force where he was a captain. “To be able to add people of Kimberly and Ron’s background and business acumen will continue to allow FAST to be a leader in the industry and fulfill our mission in the foundation,” said FAST President Kasey Kesselring.
