FAST Announces Horse Show; New Board Members

The Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse's (FAST) President Dr. Kasey Kesselring is pleased to announce the addition of several new board members. Bill Callaway, Pat Ingram, Carol Lackey and Jill Derickson have all agreed to serve on the FAST board of directors.
As part of the organization's efforts for 2016, mark your calendars for a FAST horse show on Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville. All proceeds from the show will be reinvested in the industry. Since its inception, FAST has reinvested more than $1.5 million into various initiatives including shows, research and development, scholarships and legal funding. A show schedule will be released soon.

Fifteen world grand champions were crowned Thursday night, the first of three world title nights at the 86th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. Dan Asche of First Christian Church gave the prayer. Craig Campbell of Eagleville gave a country touch to the “Star Spangled Banner”, while Ronnie Spears and White Diamond Dollar presented the Stars and Stripes.
