FAST announces 2nd annual Gala

FAST is proud to announce the 2nd Annual 2018 FAST Spring GALA. Last year’s GALA was a resounding success both in its fundraising endeavor and in its ability to bring industry and community members together. This year will follow the same agenda as last year. Reservations can be made for this year’s GALA by calling Denise Rowland (931-703-7597), or Kathy Zeis, 404-626-4637, or you can send your reservation and check to FAST, Inc. P. O. Box 259, Shelbyville, TN 37162.

Last year’s GALA started at 6:00 pm with an open bar followed by a sumptuous filet dinner. As the valets parked their cars, participants walked the red carpet lined with banners depicting current World and World Grand Champion Show Horses and top contenders for titles. Live music entertained the party goers as they enjoyed their dinner and each other. Silent auction items were displayed for bidding during the evening. Following dinner a live auction commenced with spirited bidding on trips to Europe, sporting events, diamond jewelry and a fancy red Polaris.

FAST honored David Broiles and Frank Eichler for all they have contributed to the Tennessee Walking Show Horse Industry. The evening was full of fun as participants enjoyed themselves. The GALA was followed on Friday and Saturday by the 9th Annual FAST Spring Showcase Horse Show.

The weekend is the main fund raising event for The Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse, Inc. Last year’s fundraiser resulted in raising over one hundred thousand dollars. The funds are being used for general expenses, Legal Defense, TWH Marketing/Promotions and Horse Show Development. Please join us this year.
