The Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse (FAST) will sponsor an amateur class for anyone who would like to ride in memory of or in honor of a fighter or survivor of breast cancer, Class 6 on Friday night, October 28, 2011. The class is a specialty performance horse class, open to all ages, genders, horses and people.
FAST is waiving the entry fee for this class but asks that all entries make a donation in lieu of an entry fee. All donations from the class will be given to the Williamson County Breast Health Center who will have a representative at the show to present the trophy to the winner.
Every entry will receive a pink boutonniere when they sign up for the class. The show announcer, Adam Hensley will announce each entry and who they are riding for. “I hope this will be a class that any show can add to their line up. Having lost my mother to breast cancer, it is a way to honor her memory and make a donation to help others overcome this dreaded disease.” says Kathy Zeis, FAST Secretary. “We will also have available a table where donations can be made to Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure®.”
FAST is a 501 (c) 3 organization that’s mission is to promote and preserve the Tennessee Walking Show Horse. All donations to FAST are tax deductible and are put to immediate use in the industry. For more information or to make a donation visit FAST online at www.FASTWalkingShowHorse.org
